As we have told many times before we normally say no to the press.
Not because we don’t want the publicity – we do. But normally the journalist only want to talk about our food. And since we don’t consider ourselves as another restaurant but as a meeting place and/or a cultural hub for the free individual and international travelers we made that decision early on.
But the other day we got a call from Sam… a journalist from The Himalayan Times. One of the first not to ask for a free meal and who instead had a lot of questions about our place, our name, our guests etc. So we agreed on meeting her for a talk about Tings.
