About the tea

Tea is the most common drink you can get in Nepal – made from local tea with milk and sugar and selected spices. It’s a fantastic refreshment and you can find it everywhere … except at Tings.

We love the chiya, but tea is so much more.

Nepal has excellent teas that you never get a chance taste in Nepal due to the tradition of chiya. We have made a small selection of our own favorite teas from Nepal and from other parts of the world – a selection ranging  from the most delicate white tea to the aromatic and spicy teas.

Most of the teas can be brewed twice or more, so just ask us for a refill of hot water.
