
Returning to bakin' mode
OK guys + gals.
While Annette is in Denmark I’m killing time exercising my baking skills. I am desperate to get a good thick slice of decent bread.
Before I experiment with grains and seeds I have to get used to the yeast which is very different from what I’m used to in Europe. Further more the altitude makes it impossible to work with my usual timing. Add to this an oven completely unknown to me – and gas!
It’s like starting all over again.
But don’t worry – i’ll reach my ‘old’ standard before Tings Tea Lounge & Tings Lounge Hotel opens in September. The smell of home baked bread is a MUST!
