We’ve never don this before. But when our regular guest – and now dear friend Christine – ago if we could arrange a surprise wedding party for her French friends Chrystele and Christopher we said off course.

That was six months ago. She reminded us about the wedding cake and the music when she arrived 6 days ago.

No problem!

As always we checked out what’s available locally… Thomas made the 5 cakes from the home baked cake-pie-plates and the home made custard (with dulche leche) while Annette decorated the cake with the 100 layers of ‘silver’ she bought from a local Indian cake shop in Narayangarh and candied the rose leaves from our garden.
